In February, we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Luis and Rosy’s wedding at the Richard Nixon Library in Orange, County, California. We were so excited to be part of this special day at such a beautiful venue. Rosy and Luis had been planning this special day for a long time and invested many hours planning their perfect wedding.
Once we arrived at the venue, we saw the details, the flower arrangements, the table settings and we knew that it would be a special day. The staff at the Nixon Library was very kind and accommodating and they gave us access to some special areas within the building prior to the ceremony. Once the ceremony started, the overcast weather in Yorba Linda allowed us to take some great shots of Rosy and Luis as they sealed their love with a kiss.
Both Rosy and Luis were overwhelmed by the love they felt by their friends and family, but mainly by the joy they felt to finally be married. In every picture we took, we could see the excitement of their guests and of the finally newlyweds. Luis, Rosy and the bridal party had a great time taking pictures, especially in front of Army One, the helicopter used by some of the U.S. presidents. Rosy looked like a beautiful princess in her gorgeous wedding dress next to her bridesmaids who wore beautiful rose gold colored dresses. Luis looked incredibly handsome in a fitted gray suit next to his groomsmen who looked super stylish as well.
During the reception, we continued the celebration in the elegant ballroom where everything looked perfect! We particularly loved taking pictures of Luis and Rosy as they made their grand entrance and walked to the middle of the ballroom for their first dance under the beautiful, glass chandelier. The rest of the afternoon was filled with magical moments from guests dancing with Luis and Rosy, to great toasts given by the best man and the maid of honor, to a wonderful time where friends and family were able shower the newlyweds with words of love and blessings.
We are so thankful for having been the photographers for Luis and Rosy but we are even more grateful for their everything that the futures holds for them!
